Gratitude and Joy…………..Day 6

Today, I am thankful for the opportunity to put food on our table. We raise beef, chickens and eggs and are very fortunate to have our freezers full. I am also thankful for those that hunt for their food as our ancestors did. As deer hunting season comes to a close today, I wanted to share the amazing experience we had last week. Donnie and I are not hunters, but are glad that there are others that enjoy it and help keep the populations in check. It is the time of year when I usually see posts from landowners cussing at disrespectful hunters. Well, our story is exactly opposite. We had the pleasure of hosting a deer hunter at our place for a week. He was an absolute pleasure to have here and became a friend and part of our family. We shared meals together and visited about life, family. We are so glad that you got the big buck while you were here Dane Buysse and look forward to having you back again. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
